This free community pet festival brings together South Florida pet lovers, rescue organizations, pet-related businesses and plenty of four-legged guests for a day dedicated to pets and the people who love them.

The day begins with an AKC FIT DOG Walk from 8:00 to 9:00 AM, giving local dog owners a chance to get outside and enjoy John Prince Park with their pups before the main festival begins.
The AKC FIT DOG program encourages people and their dogs to stay active together, making the morning walk a fitting start to a day centered around healthy, happy pets.
From 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, the Heart & Paws Celebration continues with the Dog Days Fall Festival.
Pet lovers can spend the day visiting local vendors, meeting animal rescue organizations, learning about pet-related resources and enjoying activities for both people and pets.
