Boca Raton Howl-O-Ween 2026

Get ready for a morning of Halloween fun with your four-legged friend at Boca Raton Howl-O-Ween, happening Saturday, October 24, 2026, from 9 AM to noon at Countess de Hoernle Park.

Hosted by the City of Boca Raton, this free, family-friendly dog event brings together Halloween costumes, canine entertainment and plenty of activities for dogs and their people. Costumes are encouraged, so dress up your pup and come ready to celebrate.

The morning’s scheduled events include the Muttville Comix Dog Show at 9:30 AM, the Howl-O-Weener Dachshund Race at 10:30 AM, and the Howl-O-Ween Costume Contest at 11:30 AM. Throughout the event, visitors can also enjoy a Trail of Treats, photo booth, crafts, Paw Spa, Sit, Stay, Chill Lounge, hydration station and sponsor giveaways.

The costume contest includes categories for Best Overall, Best Dog & Owner Combo, Best Pack Costume, Most Creative and Funniest Costume. Dachshunds at least four months old can also compete in the Howl-O-Weener race, although advance registration and two handlers per dog are required for race participation.
