Pet Junction First Impressions: This park is really pretty. There is a lot of room for the dogs, big or small to run and play. There are plenty of benches and lots of shady spots for humans. This park is a little different from most as the entrances for the small dogs and big dogs are on opposite sides of the park. The small dogs enter on the south side and the big dogs on the north. Both sides are very spacious and well-maintained.
There are restrooms, water fountains, and water hoses readily available for the pups. All in all, it’s a very nice dog park in Oakland Park, there is lots to do for the dogs! The drawback of this park is the noise. The park is located just west of I-95 and the traffic is pretty loud but once you are there for a little while, you really don’t hear it too much.
