Quiet Waters Park boasts a breathtaking waterfront campground, featuring 25 tent sites and two tepees. Each site is equipped with running water, electricity, a fire ring, a picnic table, and a grill, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Additionally, two restrooms with hot showers are conveniently located near all sites, ensuring your convenience and comfort throughout your stay.
While you’re here, take advantage of the exciting activities and attractions within the park. Ski-Rixen, our renowned cable water skiing facility, is a major draw for thrill-seekers. For outdoor enthusiasts, our park offers a 7-mile network of paved multi-use trails and challenging mountain bike trails suitable for riders of all skill levels. Immerse yourself in the beauty of our five picturesque lakes as you explore the trails.
After Hurricane Wilma devastated the park, our dedicated volunteers, under the guidance of the International Mountain Bicycling Association, worked tirelessly to rebuild the mountain bike trails, enhancing the park’s landscape and creating new trails for your enjoyment. Experience the revamped trails, complete with new landscaping, structures, and staging areas at the trailhead.
Prepare to be pleasantly surprised by the additional amenities within the park. Unwind at our water park, featuring a sandy beach along one of our freshwater lakes. Adjacent to Ski Rixen, you’ll find a thrilling 20,000-square-foot Skate Park, exclusively open on weekends. Skateboarders, inline skaters, and BMX biking enthusiasts can indulge in over a hundred ramps and grind trails, ensuring an adrenaline-filled experience.
Discover the serenity of our third lake, the most scenic of them all. Our marina offers a variety of rental options, including canoes, kayaks, jon boats, and paddle boats. If you prefer to bring your own watercraft, you’ll find convenient parking near the grassy “beach” where you can launch your canoe or kayak.
